What is the point?
The notorious “Beep Test”, or “Yo-Yo Test”, was developed by Leger and Lambert in 1982 to test the development of an athlete’s maximum oxygen uptake (VO2 max).
With its repeated short runs and turns, it is an excellent test of aerobic capacity of games players, though less effective for athletes such as rowers, runners or cyclists.
The Multistage Fitness Test Table allows you to convert your beep test score into a VO2 max rating – the ultimate measure of aerobic capacity.
What do you need?
What results you’ll get :
The table is of predicted maximum oxygen uptake values for the Multistage Fitness Test.
Simply locate the Level and Shuttle you achieved in the test to find your VO2 max value.
