Using static flexibility tests to measure range of hip and trunk movement, as well as reach or flexion flexibility tests is a great idea if
you are regularly participating in physical activity. Be sure when you use flexibility tests that you use them for all areas of the body like hip and trunk and not just the hamstrings.
Flexion Tests
By performing flexion tests you will be able to gauge how well you are able to move the hip joint through a large range of motion. Any runner, sprinter, long or high jumper or athlete who requires quick bursts of energy should be doing flexion tests on a regular basis.
